Sherwood is starting to look like a sure thing.
The indie pop band with Cal Poly ties releases its major-label debut, “A Different Light,” today on MySpace Records.
Meanwhile, the boys of Sherwood are busy touring Canada on a 49-city tour. They played for a packed crowd at San Luis Obispo’s Downtown Brewing Co. earlier this month.
What’s more, Sherwood’s MySpace page features nearly 98,000 fans.
As Sherwood lead singer Nate Henry told The Tribune last month, “that’s something that every pop band dreams of.”
“You have to work harder than anybody else to get the chance,” said Henry, who attended Cal Poly alongside guitarist Dan Koch, drummer Joe Greenetz and keyboard player Mike Leibovich.
So what makes Sherwood so special? Check out the band on MySpace.
